The 7-day trip is for rising 8th and 9th graders, and is designed to support participants in that pivotal life moment around the transition to high school.
As with every WILD trip, we'll hike, play games, swim in beautiful water, get real around the fire, and have plenty of free time to enjoy the beauty of the Sierras.
In addition to the core elements of Back to Earth's training - gratitude and mindfulness practices, nature observation, and wilderness skills - participants on a 7-day trip will become proficient in the use of their backpacking gear.
LOCATION: This trip will take the boys into the southern wilderness of Yosemite National Park. The group will hike along rushing creeks, camp at beautiful lakes, traverse granite ridges and gain sweeping views of one the the most iconic regions in the world.
