Permaculture and Yoga Backpacking Trip: The Ecology of Union

  • Permaculture and Yoga Backpacking Trip: The Ecology of Union

This trip is a really unique opportunity to spend 4 full days of intimate time with two very well-known teachers in an incredible place. Benjamin Fahrer and Melina Meza are combining their years of experience, knowledge and skill to create a full immersion into the art of observation through the insightful holistic practices of permaculture and yoga. This  4-day journey will take you into the heart of nature and oneself.

Through the practices of permaculture and yoga we’ll weave our own natural state of being with the rhythms of the day in one of the most dynamic and pure places on the planet; the Ventana wilderness of Big Sur. Traveling 8 miles into the back-country above the Wild and scenic Big Sur river valley, you will then be led overland along the canyon floor to an exclusive haven to drop in with the natural elements and discover a new sense of place and what it means to be home.

• Learn and reconnect with the basis of permaculture as a way of designing ones life
• Explore engaging sequencing to discover your own yoga flows
• Find your own rhythm of connection to the world through the art of observation

Our time will be amidst towering redwoods, flowing fresh drinkable springs, day hikes to natural hot springs, epic deep clear pools and fireside meditations. We will build community and play on the edge of what is humanly possible in this time of deep transformative shifting in our culture and on the planet.

With instructors Benjamin Fahrer and Melina Meza and guide Dashielle Vawter.

Regular rate of $635.
