Women’s Tantra Yoga, Backpacking & Hot Springs: Exploring Feminine Sexuality in Nature

Summer is time to enjoy the sensations of sand between your toes, warm evenings under the stars, and a backcountry hot springs to make you wonder what on earth you were so stressed about two days ago…

Many women have never completely stepped into and enjoyed their sexual or sensual selves. Whether due to fear, shame, trauma or a combination of the three, this particular aspect of our relationships with our selves, our partners, and the world can feel closed or bring up insecurity.

In this series of retreats with Ashley Apple we will explore our sensuality and sexuality in a lush, beautiful, not to mention safe, supportive and fun environment. Through greater embodiment this work can be a path of great liberation, empowerment, pleasure and fulfillment.

This first trip in the 2-part series takes us into the back-country of Big Sur to connect deeply with the earth, water and fire elements. Drawing on these natural energies we’ll cultivate those same energies within using Tantric techniques. In Tantra Yoga postures and breathing practices are used to build, expand and move energy along the spine for deepening states of consciousness, compassion and bliss. We will focus on the lower chakras where we store our vitality, sexuality, creativity and passion.

Learn the physical and energetic sexual anatomy of women, several types of orgasm, strengthening our vitality and desire with muscle control, and connecting our sexuality with our hearts. As we practice yoga and explore our relationship to sexuality we will grow stronger in our connection to the elements and the manifestation of those elements within.

Enjoy the raw beauty of Big Sur and indulge in natural hot springs as we explore the elements within and around us in nature.

The second part in this series takes place at a retreat center in the fall. To learn more about the second part of this series click here.
